The Vernon Lions Club is hosting a community paper shredding event to help you clear out those boxes safely and securely, while doing something good for Vernon at the same time. Every dollar raised goes directly to smaller, local charities in our community, the ones that don't always get the spotlight or support that bigger organizations do, but are doing meaningful work every day.

Here's how easy it is:

1. Load up your old documents (you can leave the stapples in)
2. Drive to the wholesale club parking lot (corner of Hwy 97 & 25th Ave)
3. Watch your paper trail disappear — securely and on the spot

When: Saturday, September 12, 2026

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Where: Wholesale Club parking lot, Highway 97 & 25th Avenue, Vernon, BC
