The Vernon Lions Club’s Ducks for Dogs fundraiser helps raise money for a service dog through BC & Alberta Guide Dogs for a local child with autism who needs extra support. Every duck purchased helps turn a fun community event into meaningful local impact.

Whether you have a duck in the race or are simply looking for a fun, free family event, we would love to see you there. Come cheer on the rubber ducks as they race down the stream, enjoy games and exhibits, and be part of a great community day supporting a meaningful cause.
A hot dog BBQ will also be available for a small charge, with all proceeds going to the fundraiser.

Parking is available at the Rail Trail parking lot on Kalamalka Road at the Coldstream station beside Sun Country Cycle bike shop.
Prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded to the owners of the first three ducks to cross the finish line:
1st: $1000
2nd: $500
3rd: $250
Plus one prize of $100 for the lovable last-place straggler who finally paddles in.
Can't make it to the race? No problem. If your duck wins a prize, we'll give you a call.
